Students give a lot of themselves to continue the legacy of the Marching Chiefs, devoting an average of 23 hours per week during the fall semester. Balancing a full course load, they practice, perform, and repeat, demonstrating remarkable dedication of both time and talent. Additionally, each student invests around $150 annually for essential items and supplies.
With the launch of Chiefs United, we aim to establish a $1.6 million endowment. This fund will generate $60,000 in annual income, providing up to $150 in direct funding for every Marching Chief. We feel strongly that our students already commit themselves and work incredibly hard as members of the band. We want to alleviate the cost burden of participating in Marching Chiefs to keep the legacy going.
Initiated in 2013, the New Instrument Fund has already provided numerous top-quality instruments for our Marching Chiefs. But keeping the inventory in top condition will always be a priority. Your tax-deductible gift to the instrument campaign will be used to ensure that we keep the sounds of Doak Campbell Stadium heard well into the future.
Magic happens when the Chiefs hit the road. They bring the sounds that unite Seminole fans everywhere, from the unrelenting war chant to the deeply moving “Hymn to the Garnet and the Gold.” Help us spread the Seminole spirit by sending the Chiefs to additional away games, both here and abroad.
