High School Bands

We offer high school bands unique opportunities to meet and learn from the Chiefs with engagements for both our Tallahassee community and beyond.

High School Band Day

Each football season, one game is designated as High School Band Day, offering high school bands the chance to experience the Marching Chiefs in action. They can enjoy performances during a pregame concert, throughout the game, and at halftime in Doak Campbell Stadium. Free admission is provided to high school band students, their directors, and a limited number of official chaperones.

High School Band Day will take place on September 6, 2025, with a noon kickoff against East Texas A&M. Tickets are very limited, so please call our office at (850) 644-3507 to be placed on the priority mailing list for your chance to receive tickets. We can only accept requests directly from band directors.

Marching Chiefs Rehearsal Visit

For high school bands near the Tallahassee area, we invite you to bring your students to observe one of our regular season rehearsals. The Marching Chiefs hold practice (most) every weekday, Monday through Friday, during the fall semester. We have bleacher seats that will comfortably hold up to 100 students at our practice field.

Before scheduling your visit, call the band office at (850) 644-3507 to confirm that rehearsal will be held on your selected date. Occasionally, we are not at the field (recording sessions), and we often take Fridays off if there is no game on Saturday. In the event of inclement weather, we are forced away from the practice field, so please check the forecast before leaving your hometown.
